Gent is a cross-platform terminal app with built-in AI agent chat, a multi-file IDE, and a full library of MCP integrations — all accessible from any device on your network. Run it on your Mac, Windows, or Linux machine, then pair your phone to control everything remotely.

Installation

Download and install Gent on macOS, Windows, or Linux.

How it works

Your desktop runs Gent as the server. It owns all session state: terminals, projects, agent chats, and files. Your phone (or any other device on the same network) pairs with it and acts as a live mirror — you see and interact with the same sessions, in real time, from anywhere on your local network. No cloud. No accounts. Just your devices talking directly to each other.
